The Lighthouse Charity Team is a non-profit 501(c) 3 organization. We provide equipment and volunteer labor to prepare meals to raise funds for charitable organizations and those in need. These groups incur only the costs of the food and products used for the event, allowing them to receive the benefit of 100% of profits.
Our team, located on the Texas Gulf Coast, consists of over 50 dedicated volunteers. We are individuals and families who live and work in the area joined by business owners who come together in friendship and commitment to meet the needs of others. Utilizing 13 state-of-the-art, custom, portable trailers along with many other pieces of equipment that support the needs of a successful event, the team consistently delivers quality products and beneficial results. All trailers and equipment are fabricated and maintained at our Operations Facility with donated material and labor giving us the ability to put our efforts back into the community.
Operating capital is received through the personal finances of our team members, through individual donations and sponsors from the local area. “Over the years, LCT has grown bigger and more rewarding than we could have ever imagined when we started in 1984. Without our dedicated volunteers and sponsors, none of this would be possible” says Scott Gordon, VP of Operations.
