LCT is proud to host this golf tournament in honor of Lawrence J. Del Papa and the many great works he started in our communities.All funds from this event will benefit the Lighthouse Charity Team to help them continue their mission of “People Helping People.” Lighthouse Charity Team is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that provides equipment and volunteers to prepare meals to raise funds for charitable organizations and those in need. Santa Fe Tragedy - Lighthouse Charity Team is here to helpTragedy in Santa Fe
The Santa Fe tragedy shook us all to the core, but LCT quickly moved into emergency mode to support the first responders and government agents that descended upon the high school after the shooting. With help from HEB, Bayway, Jersey Mike’s Subs and others, we provided nourishment and encouragement to these hardworking and dedicated men and women.

BBQ for BozBBQ for Boz
LCT headed to Pearland to serve BBQ sandwiches at the benefit for Pearland Fire Marshal Greg Bozdech. The event raised over $30K to help the family with medical expenses.

Libbie’s Place Luau
LCT cooked a Hawaiian-themed dinner for Libbie’s Place Luau held in April. The evening of music, food and fun benefits Galveston’s only senior adult day program.

Galveston Lemonade DayGalveston Lemonade Day 2018
Lemonade Day Galveston County is a free, educational initiative that introduces youth to entrepreneurship and skills to prepare them for both business and life. Through the program, children are empowered to start their own business – a lemonade stand – and experience earning money, using profits to spend, save and share based on their own goals. Each year LCT provides food for the event.

Remy's ArmyRemy’s Army
A benefit was held June 3 for Remy Koks, a Friendswood child who has been diagnosed with Stage IV cancer. LCT prepared the chopped BBQ sandwiches for the event, but Remy’s Friendswood Broncos coaches served the crowd. Team member Martin Griffin provided music for the fundraiser. Approx. $13K was raised from the event.

Strawberry Recovery FairStrawberry Recovery Fair
LCT partnered with Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Dickinson and Galveston County Recovers to host the Stawberry Fair in Dickinson. The event provided access to resources and agencies that offer assistance to those still recovering from Hurricane Harvey.

Rotary Crawfish BoilGalveston Rotary Crawfish Boil
LCT handled the cooking and serving duties at the 8th Annual Rotary Club Galveston Crawfish Boil. Each year the event is held at Moody Gardens with all proceeds going to Galveston charities and projects.

LCT members served BBQ sandwiches at the benefit for the Bert and Amber Young Family to help with medical / funeral expenses. CCISD co-workers of Amber organized the fun run / benefit in March. See More
Maritime RegimentTexas Maritime Regiment
Lighthouse volunteers fed the Texas Maritime Regiment of the Texas State Guard in April. The group was practicing search and rescue / dive training in Galveston to prepare for future emergencies.
