A Season of Giving Volunteers sorted, assembled, wrapped and delivered holiday gifts at the Galveston Blue Santa event held in December. Each year, the community generously donates toys, gift cards and Christmas items to be distributed to families around the county. Led by GPD Officer Jovan Harris and her fellow officers, LCT volunteers, and others, this event once again brought joy and happiness during the holiday season. ![]() |

Wreaths Across America LCT was proud to be a part of the Wreaths Across America event held Dec. 14. Team members helped place wreaths on the gravesites of veterans at Lakeview Cemetary. |

Stockings for Winnie A team effort between LCT, Blue Santa, the Parrot Heads, the Salvation Army and many other volunteers helped decorate, fill and deliver Christmas Stockings for children in Winnie. Many in the community are still recovering from Hurricanes Harvey and Imelda. |

USMC Birthday Bash and Veteran’s Day Celebration Team members prepared and served BBQ plates at the San Leon ‘Salute Our Troops’ Celebration. Proceeds from the event went to the Dwane Caldwell Military Scholarship & Charity Foundation. |

Houston Metro Go Texan Ghost & Goblins BBQ Cookoff The Houston Metro Go Texan Committee held their BBQ Cookoff and Fundraiser in Oct.. Proceeds from the event provides scholarships for students in the Nasa/Clear Creek/ Friendswood area |

Appreciation Day at Ellington AFB Lighthouse Charity was honored to spend a Saturday in October serving lunch to soldiers stationed at Ellington Air Force Base. The team served burgers and hot dogs to over 800 service members and their families. It was just a small way for us to show how much we appreciate all the sacrifices these men and women make to keep our country safe. |

Cancer Survivors Luncheon Hot dogs and burgers were on the menu at the Cancer Survivor Luncheon held in October at Precision Radiology Center ![]() |
Benefit for Randy and Michelle Rutz LCT prepared and served BBQ plates at the ‘Raise It 4 Randy & Michelle’ benefit held in September. The couple was involved in a boating accident and proceeds were raised to help with their medical expenses. |

Lost & Found Ministries Back Pack & School Supply Drive LCT served hot dogs during the “We Have Your Back” event. The ministry gave away backpacks and school supplies to area children. |
